WHAT: The Center for Architecture and Design (CFAD) is set to host its signature event, DesignPhiladelphia. Featuring design-centric programs, exhibitions, and installations throughout the city, the festival will serve as a vibrant showcase of both emerging and veteran designers, highlighting the cutting-edge innovation that defines the Philadelphia design community.
Rebecca Johnson, Executive Director of CFAD, celebrates the new talent joining this year's festival, "The energy and passion these designers bring to our city are truly inspiring. Our festival is a tribute to those pushing boundaries and a testament to the vibrant design community that thrives in our city."
1. DesignPhiladelphia Kickoff Party + VIP Reception - October 4 from 5:30 - 9:00 PM, mark your calendar for the Kickoff Party and VIP Reception at Cherry Street Pier. Attendees will get a first look at immersive installations and exhibitions.
2. Design is Inclusive Exhibition - October 4-15, this signature exhibition at Cherry Street Pier features exciting emerging designers honing their craft right here in Philadelphia.
3. Kids Fest - October 7, bring the future designers in your life to Cherry Street Pier for hands-on experiences and workshops.
